ICTs and information :v

Information technology (IT) is the technology needed to acquire, store, process and distribute information by electronic means. Data is raw, unorganized facts that need to be processed, can be something simple and seemingly random and useless until it is organized. Storage Is the name given to a storage technology dedicated to sharing the storage capacity of a computer. Information is stimuli that has meaning in some context for its receiver. Processing is a flexible software sketchbook and a language for learning how to code within the context of the visual arts. Computer is a programmable machine. The two principal characteristics of a computer are: It responds to a specific set of instructions in a well-defined manner and it can execute a prerecorded list of instructions (a program). Evolution Over the last decades, governments all over the world have tried to take advantage of information and communication technology (ICT) to improve government operations and communication with citizens. ICTs (information and communications technology - or technologies) is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application, encompassing: radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network.
